Jack and Stacy Grimes have over 30 years of experience in the psychiatric field. They both started as a mental health worker at a local psychiatric treatment facility while obtaining their master’s degree from Norfolk State University. Her training and supervision led them both to creating Family Solutions, Inc., which, composed of six residential treatment programs for adolescent boys up to age 22 years of age. The mission of Family Solutions, Inc. was to reunite family members together even when it was not possible to live under the same living arrangements and to bridge the gap between parents and their children.
Due to their years of experience and work with families, they were both chosen to participate and become a member of The Council for the Human Rights of Children.
This is a nonprofit organization that will focus on all children having the right to be treated with dignity and respect and that all treatment should be family focused.
Along beside Dr. William Glasser, Dr. Cloe' Madanes, Dr. Frank Dattillio and Tony Robbins, Jack Grimes and Stacy Grimes helped create policy for The Council for the Human Rights of Children for future legislative reform and future documentaries.

Jack taught Family Therapy at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University for several years as an adjunct Professor. He earned "The most inspirational Teacher" in 2001.
Stacy taught psychology courses at Tidewater Community College.
Jack has been on television giving his opinion of at-risk youth and how to incorporate families into their treatment.
